Church tag sale

Chicopee – Holy Mother of the Rosary Church, 26 Bell St., will hold a tag sale on Saturday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rain or shine it will be held in the hall. There will be jewelry, clothing, shoes, dishes, glassware, books, CD’s, toys, tools, household items and more. Please wear a mask.

Church drive-in event

Springfield – Foster Memorial Church is holding their monthly outreach “Drive-In” event on Saturday, June 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the church’s back parking lot. They will be collecting non-perishable food for the Emergency Food Cupboard of the Open Pantry The church is located at 1791 Wilbraham Road in the Sixteen Acres section.

Virtual scholarship event

Longmeadow – Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy, 1148 Converse St., will hold a virtual scholarship event on www.LYA.org on Monday, June 21 at 7:30 p.m. Learn how LYA touched all aspects of the community during Covid. This year LYA will honor Andrew and Stephanie Zolotor for their dedication and support of LYA. They will also have a dinner that you can order and enjoyed in your home during “Be Inspired.” Dinner by Yosi Kosher Catering, will include a roll, choice of salmon or chicken, two side dishes and dessert. Dinner can be ordered for a cost of $30 per person by Tuesday, June 15 at info@lya.org. Pick up dinners on June 21, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at LYA.

Easthampton – The Baha’i Community of Western Mass./Southern Vt. invites everyone to its regular, online devotional programs as follows: Weekly Sunday Devotions via Zoom at 11:30 a.m. each Sunday morning, hosted by local Baha’i communities and individuals on an alternating basis. In addition, our monthly Zoom programs include the Springfield Spiritual Conversations Gathering offered each third Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; Prayers for the Earth on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.; and the Easthampton Tuesday Devotions on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Virtual Fire of Hope Catholic Charismatic Rally

Agawam – The annual “Faith on Fire Catholic Charismatic Rally,” will be held for one day on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. on the grounds of Sacred Heart Parish on Springfield Street in the Feeding Hills section. The evening will consist of praise and worship music with three music ministries, Eucharistic procession, Reconciliation, opportunity for extra prayer under the prayer tent and Prayers for healing with the laying of the hands. There will be two main speakers and two lay witness speakers. The “Faith on Fire Committee,” Agawam Knights of Columbus and Saint Martha’s Guild will provide food for purchase. Bring a lawn chair and or blankets for comfortable seating.

Vine and Branches Gift Shop is opened

Agawam -Bee’s Wax Candles are now in. The Vine and Branches Gift Shop at Sacred Heart Parish at 1061 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills will continue to be open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You may contact the Pastoral Minister Deb Briancesco RN at 786.8200 ext.3 with any questions or concerns.

Safe Sunday services

Southwick – Southwick Congregational Church has now opened its sanctuary for safe worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m. for a quick service. “Coffee Hour,” continues via Zoom at 11 a.m. The worship safety protocols require everyone to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and follow a well-marked traffic flow. If you do not feel well, stay home.

Chicopee – Trinity Episcopal Church, 27 Streiber Drive, invites the community to the weekly online 9 a.m. Sunday worship service via Zoom. Weekly worship via Zoom is also available at noon Monday through Friday. For complete details, call 413-533-7872.

Westfield – First United Methodist Church, 16 Court St., holds their Sunday worship on their Facebook page, every Sunday at 10 a.m. For more information visit www.umcwestfield.org.

Holyoke – St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 34 Jarvis Ave., welcomes you to join them for their online worship services via Zoom on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. There will be a virtual “coffee hour” afterwards and welcome you to stay on and introduce yourself.
